Frostbite Series - Race 2025-01-18

Those who failed to show today missed a special one. (Regrets Brian we hope you recover for next week) It was a light wind race for the most part with just enough medium strength wind thrown in to ensure we were in on time for lunch.

Our course was a simple there and back from the south harbour to Grief Point, a distance of some 4 nautical miles (8 km.). Winds were variable and luck played it’s role quite nicely.

The race may be remembered by some for the number of layers of clothing that needed to be stripped off in mid winter as sunshine filled the sky.
